Faith Adu
Faith is a governance and development specialist with several years’ experience in implementation of cross-cutting programs across the continent of Africa. She has extensive experience in the development and humanitarian sectors with particular interest in displaced populations and peace and conflict management.
She possesses demonstrable capacities in promoting inclusion in governance including design and management of community-based programs. She has undertaken research and policy analysis on participation of youth, women and minority groups across social, political and economic spectra. She has also engaged with the State Department that ensures consultative and coordinated approaches to managing devolved functions in Kenya’s devolved system of governance.
Ms. Adu is currently on the Board of Directors for SCOPE, a Kenyan NGO that works with communities around health, governance and youth empowerment. Her educational background includes a Master’s in International Development from the University of East Anglia in the UK, a B.A. in International Relations from USIU-Africa and a graduate Certificate in Management of Elections from the University of South Africa.
